Is there a recommended staining protocol for the analysis of tube formation experiments?

In general, phase contrast microscopy is sufficient for the automated analysis of standard tube formation experiments in the µ-Slide 15 Well 3D. However, if you wish to investigate a certain marker, you can then apply your standard protocol (e.g., for immunofluorescence staining), but use caution so no damage to the gel matrix or cellular network occurs.

A staining protocol example using calcein can be found in Application Note 19: Tube Formation.
