The ibidi Mounting Medium with DAPI is too bright, what can I do?

If the DAPI signal is too bright after using the ibidi Mounting Medium with DAPI, we recommend trying the following:

Minimize the exposure time.
Dilute it up to 50% with water or PBS to reduce the DAPI concentration, as stated in our Instructions for the ibidi Mounting Medium with DAPI.
Dilute the ibidi Mounting Medium with DAPI using the ibidi Mounting Medium (without DAPI).

Please note: Mounting medium diluted with aqueous solutions (e.g., PBS) has a chance of higher evaporation.
