Complex structures generated through selforganization of human bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells co-cultured with peripheral blood mononuclear cells in a 3D fibrin matrix. Confocal microscopy image showing a cluster of cells with differential expression of CD31 (green) and CD45 (red). The cluster is surrounded by stromal cells expressing type IV collagen (white).
