RAW264.7 murine macrophage cell line stained with TRITC-phalloidin, phagocytosing Candida albicans filamentous fungus stained for yeast cell wall with FITC and cell wall chitin with Calcofluor white. Macrophages and fungi were incubated in supplemented DMEM medium for 2 hours in an ibidi μ-Slide 8 Well prior to fixing and staining. Cells were imaged in 3D using a Nikon UltraVIEW VoX spinning disk microscope and Volocity® software.
