Developing skeletal muscle primary myofiber. Muscle cells result from the fusion of several cells, originating long cells with several nuclei. Actin (red) is stained using phalloidin and the nuclei (green) are stained using a lamin A/C antibody. The image was obtained using a 20x objective on a Zeiss Cell Observer microscope.
