Yes, oil immersion microscopy is possible with the ibidi Heating System, Universal Fit – Blue Line and the ibidi Heating System Slide/Dish – Silver Line due to the bottom opening—there is no obstacle between the sample and the objective lens. However, there could be restrictions for long travel length or when working with multiple samples in the ibidi Heating System, Universal Fit, for 4 µ-Slides – Blue Line or the ibidi Heating System 4 Slides – Silver Line.
