Online Courses

Take part in one of our online courses and learn more about individual cell-based assays. These courses will give you a profound technical background and include hands-on sessions. During the two-day training, our experts will give you tips and tricks that will be helpful with your own experiments.

The courses are intended for scientists and technical associates, who have extensive experience with cell culture and sterile working techniques.

What Our Participants Say

"I would like to express my gratitude for the insightful and well-organized online course Cultivation of Cells in 3D. The session provided an invaluable overview of ibidi’s innovative products. I am particularly excited about the potential application of the µ-Slide 15 Well 3D in my upcoming PhD assays focused on iPS cell proliferation in various matrices. The course significantly enhanced my understanding of implementing 3D culture techniques. It enabled me to improve the physiological relevance of my experiments, which has proven invaluable for my research."

"The online course ibidi Pump System is a great webinar for beginners in microfluidics. It provides everything you need to know to get started with microfluidics and to improve your experience, thanks to ibidi’s expertise."

"The ibidi Online Course Cultivation of Cells in 3D was incredibly comprehensive and useful! I am about to start using spheroids and organoids and this course summarized all the main things I need to take into account. It listed the possible materials and reagents to use, and also gave an explanation of how each ibidi solution can work for different research goals. Louise's presentation was excellent, and the dynamic between the Zoom hosts was incredible! Finally, their availability to answer all our questions during and after the presentation made the course even more enriching. I feel free to contact them (as experts in this area) when I actually start working in this area, and they made me want to join future events."

"The Wound Healing and Migration Assays course was really great! I got to know new techniques which I intend to implement in my current work as a PhD student. The course was well structured and the introduction to cell migration was very helpful to remember the important basics. Louise took the time to answer all the questions and we also discussed possible applications and experimental setups, which was really helpful for me."

"My rating for the ibidi online course Cultivation of Cells in 3D is 10/10! Peggy was accessible and communicative from the start. I am a PhD student and my current research focuses on the use of nanocarriers as a strategy to circumvent the frequently acquired chemoresistance in sarcomas. So, I work with 3D models, namely spheroids and organoids, on a daily basis. Due to this, the course was one of the most useful ones I have ever been to. I plan to do an experiment in which I will treat osteosarcoma spheroids with liposomes carrying fluorophores, with the idea to monitor liposome uptake using confocal microscopy. I was wondering which would be the best plate for this experiment, and after attending this course, I think that the ibidi µ-Slide Spheroid Perfusion is for sure the best option. Moreover, it was an interactive course as everybody was able to ask and discuss whatever was on his/her mind during the whole lesson. I would definitely recommend it!"

"The online course Cell Culture Under Flow has been very helpful. I did it for the first time back in November 2021, before I started any experiments on shear stress, and I learned a lot about it. The second time I did the course was to solve some doubts about the experiments, and all my doubts were answered. The speakers were so nice all the time and it was very interesting."

"This was my second time attending the ibidi Online Course Cultivation of Cells in 3D, and it was just as good, if not better than the first course. I am fairly new to 3D cell culture, but I do have experience. I have been using the ibidi Pump System for over two years as part of my doctoral research. It was really useful to see how I can further my 2D perfusion studies with suitable slides for 3D applications using this model. I would 100% recommend the course to anyone interested in 3D applications, even if you are a beginner—this is the course for you."

"I attended the ibidi Online Course Cultivation of Cells in 3D, because as a lab technician I'm responsible for working with eukaryotic cells. It was a very good and clear course! We are already using the ibidi slides, and had no idea that there are so many options. We will test more slides in the future, such as the µ-Slide 15 Well 3D for staining our spheroids."
