Scientific Focus: Explore How Flow Shapes Cell Behavior

Join researchers in Munich to discuss how shear stress and perfusion influence vascular function, immune cell migration, and advanced 3D in vitro models. The International Cell Culture Under Flow Meeting brings together vascular biology, immunology, and microfluidic engineering to connect biological questions with experimental approaches.

Abstracts must be submitted by December 11, 2026 and will receive a decision by January 15, 2027. You are also welcome to attend without presenting your own work.

Optional hands-on workshop: On February 26, 2027, a practical workshop will focus on shear stress experiments and perfused cell culture using the ibidi Pump System. You can indicate your interest in further workshop information during meeting registration.

How to Get There

By Car

Enter Biomedical Center Munich (BMC), Großhaderner Str. 9, 82152 Planegg into your navigation system. Please approach the campus via Am Klopferspitz, where the visitor parking area is located.

By Public Transportation

From Munich Central Station: Take the U1 or U2 to Sendlinger Tor, then change to the U6 (direction Klinikum Großhadern) to the final stop. From there, take bus 266 (direction Planegg) to LMU Martinsried. Alternatively, the Biomedical Center (BMC) is about a 10-minute walk from the Klinikum Großhadern station.

From München-Pasing: Take bus 56 (direction Fürstenried-West) to Klinikum Großhadern Ost and change to bus 266 (direction Planegg) to LMU Martinsried. Alternatively, take bus 259 directly to Martinsried and walk a few minutes to the BMC.

From Munich Airport (MUC): Take the S8 to Pasing and continue with bus 56 to Klinikum Großhadern Ost. Change to bus 266 (direction Planegg) and get off at LMU Martinsried. Alternatively, take bus 259 from Pasing directly to Martinsried.

Alternatively, take the S8 to Marienplatz, change to the U6 (direction Klinikum Großhadern) to the final stop, then take bus 266 (direction Planegg) to LMU Martinsried.

Fees & Registration

All fees include 19% VAT. Student rates are available to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students. A valid student ID or certificate of enrollment must be presented at the meeting.

Included in the registration fee: Access to all scientific sessions, lunch, coffee, and snacks during breaks as well as wine and cheese.

2. Choose whether you would like to present your research or attend without presenting, and complete the required information.
3. Submit your registration and complete payment by PayPal or credit card.
