ibidi provides its technological solutions to academic and industrial partners. The extensive pool of know-how from the ibidi R&D department includes custom labware design, polymer processing, surface technologies, bonding methods, and application-specific product development.

The ibidi injection molding technique enables the production of polymer components and hybrid formats with glass in various designs. Most ibidi µ-Slides are based on a standard microscope slide format of 25.5 × 75.5 mm. These parts include standard structures with typical dimensions of 100 – 1,000 µm.
