UV Microstructuring: Principle and Practice
Design Precise Cellular Microenvironments for Controlled and Reproducible Cell Culture Models
Course Objectives
Level: Beginner
The ibidi Micro Illumination System is a compact, user-friendly benchtop platform that brings light-induced microfabrication into everyday laboratories without the need for a cleanroom. The system is compatible with standard coverslip chambers, such as ibidi µ−Slides and µ−Dishes, and supports a wide range of 2D and 3D applications.
In the 2-hour course, you will receive an introduction to the Illumination System and key physical parameters, such as diffraction and resolution. You will learn the general workflow and explore experimental examples of the applications it supports, including photopatterning, hydrogel microstructuring, and photo-click chemistry.
After the course, you will be equipped with advanced knowledge and a better understanding of the necessary tools to perform your illumination experiments with the ibidi Micro Illumination System.
No sterile working benches or cells are required to participate. Join the course from the comfort of your office or home.
Target Group
This course is intended for scientists and technical associates with experience in cell culture and sterile working practices who want to perform microstructuring assays with greater confidence and efficiency.
