We invite you to join us on our journey through ibidi’s history. Throughout the years, our goal has historically been to serve scientists around the world by providing innovative solutions for cell-based research.

The key to ibidi’s success has always been the people who have helped ibidi grow into the company it is today: our dedicated employees, our loyal business partners, and of course our customers who believed in the ibidi products right from the beginning.

It started in the heart of Munich, Germany, in the basement of the university, with three PhD students and their research group leader following their vision for revolutionizing cell-based assays. Today it is a full-blown company with headquarters in Munich and Madison, Wisconsin, USA, 34 distribution partners, more than 500 products, and more than 40,000 customers all around the world.

We are glad that ibidi is still privately owned, and that we are independent in our business decisions. This allows us to continue following our mission, which is to enable scientists to take on the challenges of understanding the underlying mechanisms of cancer, cardiovascular conditions, and autoimmune diseases.

We are excited to see what the next 20 years will bring!
