Lipid based transfection reagents often interact with plastic surfaces and therefore affect transfection efficiency and cell viability. ibidi’s Torpedo reagents have been specifically optimized for use with ibidi’s plastic materials. This results in reagents with very low cytotoxicity as well as high transfection efficiencies.

HT-1080 cells were transfected with p^CMV LifeAct-TagGFP2 using Torpedo^DNA. The cells were imaged 24 hours afterwards showing high transfection efficiency.
