ibidi, LLC, a leader in providing solutions for BioMicroscopy, is looking to add a new Technical Sales Representative to the US team. ibidi is an international company which began in Munich Germany and has now expanded in the US. We are looking for a motivated and technical individual to help grow and manage new territories in the East and/or West Coast market. This position is geared towards someone who is dedicated to life sciences and cellular research but is more suited to work in the field rather than the lab.

Technical Sales Representative

ibidi LLC is an innovative company located in Verona, Wisconsin that specializes in solutions for BioMicroscopy. Our distinct line of products is primarily used in cell culture and high resolution microscopy for the advancement of stem cell research, cancer research, live cell imaging, chemotaxis, wound healing, angiogenesis and other cutting edge biotechnologies. ibidi’s broad range of products includes micro-fluidic slides (µ-Slides), universal heating stages, flow pumps and other laboratory equipment for adherent cell culture.  We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our sales team in Verona, WI as a Technical Sales Representative. Relocation to the Madison/Verona WI area is required.

The primary responsibilities will be to maintain a high level of product knowledge for technical consulting, generate leads, develop opportunities, negotiate/close high dollar sales, maintain existing customer relations and expand ibidi’s exposure in a highly competitive market. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills are essential. This position requires 50% of time spent on travel throughout the United States.


  • Bachelor’s degree - Biology (cellular focus preferred), or related field of study preferred
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain customer relationships through both inside and outside sales
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve monthly goals
  • Ability to identify business opportunities in relation to growth strategies
  • Represent ibidi, LLC at scientific meetings, conventions and industry functions as needed
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Previous Sales experience is a plus
  • Previous Lab experience is a plus
